The Tannāre Standard: How It Works
Entrusting your skin to a craftsman is a big deal. We treat every piece of "Customer Owned Material" with the same obsession for detail that we give our own exotic hides.
- Preparation is Key: Before shipping, your skin must be properly prepped (fleshed and salted or professionally tanned). This ensures the integrity of the fibers and a beautiful finish.
- Design Consultation: Once we receive your hide, we’ll discuss the "build." You choose the stitching colors, the hardware, and the lining leather (we typically use premium vegetable-tanned bovine for structure).
- The Benchwork: We will hand-cut and assemble your gear right here in Texas. We work around the natural scars and marks of the skin to highlight the "life" of the animal.
- The Return: Your custom piece is shipped back to you, ready to be worn on your next adventure.
